Tips and strategy for Carbon on survival mode in spec ops, on Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3 , how to get far MW3

The map carbon is a fairly simple map to play survival mode on by yourself or with friends. This guide will teach even a very basic beginner how to get to at least level 30+ with little effort. This map is obviously easier if two people are playing but you can do it alone.

Right below is a link to my other hub teaching the basics and going over which weapons should be used in survival mode, and the strategies that can be applied to ALL the maps.

Ok guys, so the strategy is fairly simple on this map. And that is camp, and let the enemy come to you. Please look at the photo below as i will reference it A LOT throughout this guide, and will reference those x's a lot.

Ok, so for the first 5 or so rounds, just run around, have fun, build up money, and get ready for the later rounds. There is no need for you to initially start the game off by camping, as this will drag out the first few levels. Also note that whoever is going to play the part of the RED X must have a LMG. It is suggested that person should have 2 LMG's, but one will be enough for the first few camping rounds. The BLUE X can use any weapon, but it is still suggested that the BLUE X uses a LMG as well. (once again please pay attention to the X's at the bottom to realize who I am referring to).

So now lets jump ahead to say round 10. You and your friend should both have at least 1 LMG, and you should be ready to start camping. Please note how far the kill streaks are from your area, so save this for last guy each round, or hustle as soon as a round is over. I do suggest having a riot shield team from each player to assist you in killing.

So now lets jump to the actually game style. The RED X will have most of the action, and Each person can take turns going to the RED X position. What you want to do is lay prone, and look up the staircase in the building directly ahead of you. At the beginning of each round all of the enemy players will come through the doorway and try to run down the stairs. Your main goal is to just shoot them as they come down.

The BLUE X's job is a little different. You are going to be watching everything that is not at the doorway where the RED X is. Every once in a while a couple enemy players will run around, or a different route, so your goal is to help your buddy who is watching the staircase and take them out. Luckily you will also have the help of the riot shield team as they will stay outside, and i think one of the best plans as well is facing turrets in various directions( you will see which direction best fits you depending where the enemy will leak through).

When the juggernaut rounds come....... This is a little trickier. In the area behind where the BLUE X is, should be the grenade box, and where you should hide on helicopter rounds, or juggernaut rounds. Now remember this map is a llittle trickier than the easiest rounds, so you WILL go down at some point. It is almost impossible to be perfect and not go down at some point on this map. This is why the area where you are camping is another good area. Because you can easily get another self revive after you go down. Also you will be able to continue replenishing flash grenades, grenades, claymores, and c-4 for the juggernaut.

Following this strategy is fairly simple, and although it may have gotten confusing with the "BLUE X", and "RED X", once your in a game you will understand fully how to do this strategy which can be very simple. This strategy can also be a lot harder is you make it that way.

Things to remember. Try not to put any sentries looking at the staircase/doorway as the person watching it. This will either hurt your teammate or just be a waste. You want to make both your lives easier so that you can get as far as possible so just try placements of this to make your own life easy.

This is obviously going to be tougher for a person trying to get to high levels especially using my strategy above. My strategy above works best with 2, but you can still try it with 1. Just remember to plant all sentries facing outward away from you, and to have a riot squad, and you should not have a problem using this strategy for the first 20 rounds. After that you will start to face problems and this is when i suggest you either move to another area, like maybe the grenade room. The grenade box room will allow you to pick up the lethal assists, like grenades C-4 etc. and also allow you to get self revive if you do go down. At high levels i do not suggest camping to far away from the grenade box, in case you do go down.
