Tips and strategy for Mission on survival mode in spec ops, on Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3 , how to get far MW3
82Intro
This guide will go through the basics of how you should play the map Mission, along with a basic strategy that will allow you to get to high levels in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 survival mode.
Right below is my guide that will go in depth of the strategies that you can apply to any game mode, but you should read this prior to this guide because it will help you get a better grasp of things i will refer to in this guide.
The Map
First off lets look at the map and review what each part means before i start my guide.
The orange X's will refer to where you put your turrets. Make sure these are in front of you and your partner, but not to close that they can take fire from enemies behind the walls. For the enemy to hit the turrets, the should have to move into the open.
The red X's refer to player placement. One player is advised to stand on the truck, while the other player moves around a little bit and focuses on other areas for instance the blue paths by the yellow A, and any helicopters that come in bound. The blue Lines near yellow B will have the large amount of troops so the person on the truck ( blow up the truck first) will get heavy action there.
The strategy
Ok so generic stuff first. Remember to always have self revive. Also remember to use Light machine guns, THEY ARE YOUR FRIEND. You should also make sure helicopters get taken out first. Also riot shield teams will help( make sure they stay behind the turrets).
Now the person on the truck will get the most kills, as they will be protecting the turrets, along with shooting the main amount of enemy troops coming in bound at you. This does not mean that the other player will get bored. They will have to worry about the troops coming from the other direction, along with helicopters that come in bound.
The area that you will be placed at gives you a good elevation, along with good area to camp and take out troops. Remember when juggernauts come in you may have to move, but don't worry you can easily re-set up camp after the round and put all your turrets back.
With this strategy you should be able to get to good distances in the game. And as i said before, if you refer to my guide for survival mode in general you will ealrn about exactly the classes you should use, perks, and kill streaks, but this guide is solely for where your placement should be.

This is a good idea and I'll try it.
Made it to 40 or so, ignored this strategy. If you can do it, more power to you, but it'll take effort and luck. Just an open target.
There is a couch on the stairs in the building... Is that in anybody elses game? Why is it there. The mission map is only regular and none of the insane levels have any changes. It's the only place to escape the helicopters! :(
Yeah, those couches have been there for a LOOONG time...
In any case, I find that the best area for me is actually in the top left corner of the map, under the overhang. I usually put 1 regular sentry up against the little wooden stands (the ones with the grated top section) and a grenade sentry back along the wall to the left, then I cover the right side (the ravine and the paths right next to it). In this setup, the sentries can actually shoot the helicopters without getting shot back at (in almost all cases, I think). And as long as you get out of there FAST when the juggernaut waves start, the sentries should be fine... (usually)
I ESPECIALLY love how I've had a grenade sentry take out a helicopter BY ITSELF after wave 10 using this spot.

This is really not a good idea, tried it, tweaked to adjust, it just really does not work if you want to get past 15 or so. No offense meant.
