Intro
This Hub, will go through a short strategy for every map. This is designed for when you are playing SOLO Survival mode. I will go through each map with a short description of the strategy for that map. Before reading this hub completely you should read my hub on general info for survival mode so you can learn all the tricks of this game mode, and which weapons are best, and equipment. I will not refer to anything that you should wield, or equip in the strategy sections as it will be the same for all, and i have a guide written specifically for that. I will post the link to that guide directly below this. Also i will post a legend which can be applied to all maps which will show the ORANGE X's are turret placement, RED X's are going to be player placement, and blue lines will be where the enemy is coming from.
Also keep in mind this is only for playing by yourself, and i was asked to make this guide, if you do not agree with any strategy please feel free to comment below with map, and your strategy. If it works better than mine, i will change it and give you credit, but these strategies worked for me which is why i am sharing them with you. Please also note that i don't typically play solo survival mode, but was asked to make this guide, on my other guides. At the very bottom I will include a link which will show you how to do survival mode on all the other maps. Every map has its own guide for the team survival, but i am only doing one LARGE hub for the solo survival mode. As i said before please feel free to ask questions, comments or concerns, and i usually respond within a few hours. Please keep the comments clean, this is not youtube, this is to help players get to high levels using my strategy. Thanks in advance.
- How to get to high levels In Spec Ops Survival mode On Call Of duty Modern Warfare 3 ( MW3 )
So this guide will teach you the basic strategies that can be applied to all of the survival mode maps throughout spec ops on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. You will learn all the necessities to apply to this guide from weapons to equipment.
The Legend for all the Map pictures
The basics for all the maps
Ok so here i will talk about some basic things you should remember to do, and that you should follow, and can apply to every map below. Keep in mind the drawings i put below, worked for me, and allowed me to get to high levels by myself. Also note that on some maps, the turret placement, and player placement can be swapped, just that was my preference when i played ( for instance on the map Resistance, if you want to swap the turrets, and player placement that is fine). Remember that LMG's are good, Self revive is 100% key when playing alone, that you should keep all your equipment well stocked, and be prepared. Remember that if you want to know anything more about what you should buy, or anything please refer to my survival mode guide that i posted a link to above.
Also keep in mind that there will be times when you need to run, especially on juggernaut levels, when you will face more than 1 juggernaut at a time. If so, i would suggest running early in rounds, so that the enemy does not destroy your turret, and making your way back to your camping spot at the end of the round. Also if you do get a good enough distance it is typically advised that you should restock up on ammo, and equipment while you are making your way around the map, especially if you need to restock self revive.
Also your main goal for my strategies is that you should be forcing the enemy into a controlled group setting, and killing them while they are a whole unit. All of my strategies are made to group the enemy together to make your life simple. While there are other strategies that may work better, mine are more for the simple approach to each map that will allow you to get far in the game.
Please note that this hub has all the maps in alphabetical order, arkaden first, village last etc.....
Also if you scroll down to the bottom, i posted the links to the maps for team survival mode, each map has its own guide.
Arkaden
Arkaden
Ok so lets get this started. On this map i chose the outer area as your camping spot. Although inside you will be safe from choppers at most locations, i found this area outside to be the perfect spot for someone to go, and be able to escape quickly, with minimal routes up to them. So i placed the turrets themselves by the big stair case, but far enough back so that they can't get hit from people half way up the stair case, so you can defend them if need be. Also your main goal will be watching any people coming up the middle. You should be safe from gunfire if you stay prone, sometimes crouched, and if you do get shot from someone coming out the main doors, just hit them a couple times and they'll start to come after you. Your main goal here is to stay hidden from gunfire but, hold down this area. If you need to move on juggernaut rounds, luckily you can jump off at any point on the side rails that best suit you.
Bakaara
Bakaara
So this is going to be a similar strategy to that of my team survival mode hub that is for Bakaara, meaning that you will be in the same spot, the only difference is this time your view point. You should set your turrets up looking down the street that way the majority of the enemy troops that come at you, will run into the turret gunfire and you will only have to stress about the people who come from the left side. Keep in mind some can go around the turrets, and come on your right, so you should be watching for them as well, but as far as your main point of view, you should be looking down the left hand side of the map towards the enemy waiting for them to come at you. Obviously this being the hardest map, you should be moving on juggernaut rounds, as you can get trapped if you don't, but your main goal is that you should watch the left, and let the turret's watch the right hand side.
Bootleg
Bootleg
This map in my opinion is very tough, for both single, and multiple players, hence why i haven't gotten around to writing a guide for this map for team survival yet. But anyways, when i tried this by myself i found that if you camp upstairs in the building where i have shown you, you will be able to stay fairly well protected, and be able to fight off the troops effectively. Also this will allow you to make the enemy file into 1 route on each side, and the turrets will do a lot of work on 1 angle, and on the other angle you will do a good amount of work as well, just remember to watch your back and help your turrets out once ina while if need be. At later points when you need to move, i jumped over the railing, and made my way to other sides of the map, and eventually made my way back to the starting point.
Carbon
Carbon
On this map, i find that this strategy was my favorite of all of them. I found that this strategy was extremely efficient in taking out enemy troops and staying well hidden and protected, while you are far from the equipment box, you are right beside the ammo crate which is very beneficial to you.
With this strategy i have set up your main goal should be to have your turrets facing the bottom of the hill. You should also be facing the other way while the enemy troops are coming towards you and your turret. Your turret should be facing one way, while you watch the other direction, and kill the enemy, while looking behind you protecting your turret every once in a while. Your main goal here is to take the enemy out as they file virtually into a single line and come at you. And at later rounds when you must escape, simply go through the crate and jump over the edge, this will allow you to have an easy escape route that the other team will not be able to defend against.
Dome
Dome
This is an interesting map. Although Resistance seems to be the most popular since its the first one, this map has a lot of popularity, and this is where people originally suggested me making the solo player guide. So i put a lot of effort finding the best strategy that suited me for 1 person playing.
On this map, you should be inside the dome if by yourself. This is by far the best strategy for you to follow as there are only two entrances, ammo box inside, and you can easily crouch, and stand behind object to avoid getting hit by bullets. On this map the best thing to start with is placing the turrets facing one of the exits. It does not matter which way they face, just remember that if thats your getaway strategy that the grenade turrets can put you down if you walk in from of a grenade(trust me i know). It does not matter which way they face, but you should have two turrets that are facing one of the exits, while you watch the other exits. On juggernaut rounds, i honestly suggest you move, unless you have the fire power, equipment, and riot team to hold down this area, in that case just lay into them and take them out fast, but from personal experience, i usually just ran and had everyone chase me, while i made my way to predator missiles, and circled the map taking troops out slowly, but steadily. You should spend 90% of your game in this dome, crouched, or prone, and the other 10% running on juggernaut rounds, or refilling ammo/equipment/kill streaks
Downturn
Downturn
This is another map that i find is pretty tough when playing by yourself. I tried a couple of strategies that i had hoped would work, and what i had ended up finding out was that the best way to group the enemy together was by camping on the stairway, so this is my strategy for Downturn.
You should start off by setting your turrets up down stairs, now if you use this as our escape route, obviously you have to be very careful, as this can easily hurt you. This strategy could easily set you up to fail, but overall you should be fine if you do this right. After your initial setup of the turrets, your main goal will be, to watch the other way, and take out the enemy as they begin to file down the stairs to come get you. If done right you should have no problem making it to higher rounds. When you do need to move at later rounds, either go up or down, and cycle around the map, overall making it back to your initial spot to re-defend yourself at your spot. As i have said before, if you leave early enough before your turrets hit a juggernaut, typically they will not fight the turrets and will come straight after you.
Fallen
Fallen
The strategy on this map is fairly simple. If you follow this right you should be able to make it to high rounds, as it is very easy to kill enemy troops on this map. First off. Set you turrets up on the outside balcony, This can be quite tough, but there are a couple spots that allow you to do this. Your next goal is to pretty much just watch behind you, or inside the building. This will allow you to cover yourself, while taking the enemy out as they one by one come up the stairs, and walk inside the building. When you do need an escape route, i found the best way is to go out the window. If you go out the window try to land on the ledge right outside so you don't fall all the way to the ground, but then just start circling the map until you make your way back to the start. This should easily protect you until the later rounds of the game.
Hardhat
Hardhat
So this strategy is not all that far off from my other hardhat strategy for when you are playing with a team. My reasoning for choosing this spot, is i felt that it held a good overall area, near the ammo box, that allows you to make the enemy all file into 1 area, group together, and make life easier for you to take them out.
The overall strategy goes as follows. you should set up both your turrets facing one of the directions, while you face the other, every once in a while turning around to protect the well being of your turret. You should be focused solely on getting the enemy grouped together so you can take them out as efficiently as possible. For later rounds when the juggernauts come in, i consider this one of the hardest maps to kill the juggernauts, as they typically come in with enemy troops, and a helicopter, and it is very hard to focus on taking the juggernauts out right away, when there is so many other things happening on the map. Although you should be fully capable of being able to move around this map, while taking out the juggernauts as they come at you, and allowing yourself to make your way to get more predator missiles. Remember when running that movement is key, and that the more turns and corners that you maneuver around the better you will survive on a run strategy. At the end of the round, just make your way back to the camping spot to survive.
Interchange
Interchange
Ok, so here I chose to camp at a corner of the map. On my team strategy i virtually threw you in the middle of the map, and told you how to survive high rounds, but if you are playing by yourself no strategy really works where the enemy can come from more than 1 angle. So i chose this section of the map, and although it may be fairly far away from everything, this area will allow you to best hold down a good stretch of land, and disable the enemy from coming from any angle. This will allow them to only come from those two set paths i have showed you, and will make it extremely simple for your turrets to take the enemy out. The only downfall to this strategy is the fact that you have to go so far for the turrets, but overall i like this strategy is best to help you get as far as need be in the map.
Lockdown
Lockdown
This strategy is a fun strategy to run, with a couple of exit points, and gives you an easy way to take out the enemy. Overall your main goal is to aim the turrets at one doorway, and shoot the enemy as they come in the other doorway. They should file in 1 by 1, making this an easy massacre for you to take out the enemy as they rush in to come get you. As later rounds come on, you should be prepared to move when juggernauts come, as they can take you out fast, what i suggest you doing, is that you should jump out the window before they get to your turrets, as if the turrets hit them once they will kill the turret before coming after you. So if you jump out the window early enough, you should be able to save yourself some $$$$ by not having to buy new turrets later on in the higher rounds. Also this will give you a good chance to start making your getaway, to go buy new equipment if needed, and to get your predator missiles to take out the juggernauts ( remember juggernaut killing strategies are in the how to make it to high levels guide above). And overall you should be able to make it to high rounds using this survival strategy as it will allow you to stay hidden from helicopters ( unless in front of a window), and take out the enemy as they file in to come get you.
Mission
Mission
This strategy is similar to most strategies for Mission, although i have changed the main aspect a bit to fit the Solo Survival setting. Your main goal here should be that you are looking to group the enemy and have the coming towards you in 1 route. So where i have set up, allows all the enemy to file in towards your turrets, and any extra enemy troops will come from the other angle towards you. This is also set up for a quick escape off the edge if need be, and will allow you to make a safe run for it once you are off the side of the cliff. This strategy really works well, on juggernaut rounds to easily get away from enemy troops.
Outpost
Outpost
The strategy for this map is fairly simple, and will allow you to get to high rounds. initially i was going to have the strategy along the path where B would be on domination, but when i tried that strategy i got cornered way to easily and i could not escape. So i decided to chagne things up a bit, and switch things around.
When you camp back here, you should have your turrets facing one direction while you look the other direction and take out the enemy troops as they come at you, and this will allow you to efficiently destroy the enemy from both directions as they group up. This will also allow you to successfully escape when the need be, and allow you to go to great lengths in order to ensure the overall survival of yourself. this strategy is the the best way i found to make it to high levels when playing by yourself, and would be very simple to follow.
Resistance
Resistance
Ok, so on resistance this is also similar to my team play guide. You will be camping in the same spot. This spot gives you a good amount of protection from fire, and allows you to easily take out enemy troops. You can switch the turrets with player placement if you like, but you do not have to. personally i like the way i set this up because its tough for the enemy to attack the turrets, and by the time they start getting in abundance by the turrets you can turn around and shoot them. Keep in mind where you are playing solo, there will come a time when you need to move, when this happens, there are many exit points you can take, and circle the map, eventually coming back to the original spot. This will allow you to take cover accurately and stay hidden from the enemy troops. Overall you main goal on this section is to stay hidden and take out enemy troops as best as you can.
Seatown
Seatown
This map is fairly simple to get very far. And i chose this strategy because it will allow you to get to high levels with fairly small effort. Also the escape route is fairly simple, as all you must do is jump out the window in order to get yourself away in case of juggernaut rounds.
Now as far your actual strategy goes, you should set your turrets up in one direction, and you on the other. As far as where they go, you can switch the locations up, just make sure the two entrances are covered, and also remember that you are letting the enemy come to you, and fie into a single line, or group, and then taking them out as they form a large group in front of you. When you do need to move, it is very simple for you to move out a window in order to get away. Ans make sure that when you are using another route to get away, you eventually make your way back to the spot to camp.
Underground
Underground
Undergrounds strategy is very very straight forward. Your main goal is to set up your one direction, and you should face the other, and you should use the tunnel i have mapped out as your escape route as well when you get in trouble. If On the team survival, i have you camping at the top of the stairs but this is not effective on this map solely because of the many routes the enemy can take. Now if your experienced that may be a better option, but these guides are made to make things very simple, and allow you the best advantage. So if you camp where the X's are then you will be able to force the enemy into a group setting where you can easily take them out, and take the game to high levels.
Village
Village
This map's strategy is fairly simple to follow. First let me explain that, the majority of tis map you will spend underneath the bridge. That tis whole strategy takes place under the bride, and not on top of the bridge, and also the turret, and player placement can change, and move a little bit, i just had to put each on spots where you would mistake this as a on top of bridge strategy. Your main goal here should be taking the enemy out as they group up and letting you turret do the majority of the work, while you cover yourself on the other side. On later rounds, leave yourself an escape route, and rush through the enemy troops to escape, keep in mind, that you can get trapped on this strategy, but if you kill the enemy , and set up your turrets right, you should be fine making it to high rounds using this strategy.

Most i agree bt there's a few were i dnt. When playing at undrground i stand at the airstrike logo nd defend from there. 2 normal sentries, riot squad, claymores, body amor, selfrevive and air strike are my defence. Acr 6.8 with scope nd grenade launcher nd LMG with grip and RDS. 42 survived that way
excellent and very indepth well done www.toptoolshop.com
Cant get past round 29. Is it better to use the predator to shoot down the heli, or the large groups of enemies first? Usually by the time i get to use the predator at the start, my position is already overrun by the large groups of enemies.
Sorry, meant resistance. Will definitely do this
Very nice guide sure did make my life easier! Thanks a ton
Haven't gotten past 11 yet. Looking forward to trying out your ideas! Thanks.
thanks for your guide! I'll be helpul to me. My favorite map is Resistance. Overall I agree with your opinion. but there's one thing I wonder. It's the spot where the turrets are set up. What if the chopper attacks it from the air? Should I run giving up turrets?
I am still trying to get past Wave 20 in Resistence... I don't understand where I should put the Turrents. a) Why 2 of them and b) you mean up on the balcony at the top of the staircase or a little in from the staircase landing... the enemies keep coming up to it and taking it out... speciall in the warly waves when I can only afford 1 turret.
Thank you John. Is there anyway someone can give me more details as to what weapon to buy when specially in the first 5, 10 15 waves as I keep wasting my money on things too early maybe or too late... specially in the begining... what weapen to buy first and when? Also anyway we can get a list of the waves and what is coming up next? TY
OK. I haven't seen any replies yet. In the meantime, I reached rank 50, and I am supposed to have this "Sleigh Hand" option unlocked... but everytime I go try to buy it, I don't see it! What's with that?
Dick, are you trying to get it from the kill streak (air support) box? It's under "perk care packages" (or whatever it calls it, the first one on the list). Also, on Resistance, I tend not to buy weapons actually... and have made it past round 20 without doing so. However, I have found that the FMG-9 is a rather good gun to get... I have killed a riot juggernaut in the second juggernaut wave with 1 clip from it. Plus, it is nice having a gun with over 300 rounds and a high RoF (the recoil can be a pain, so I either burst it while ADS or just charge and hipfire, lol).
I do realize this is the solo strategy page, but I've posted a few comments with my strategies on the co-op pages (particularly Seatown, Hardhat, and Resistance).
First, John, thanks for your work on this. Very helpful to see other tactics. With school I've not had much of a chance to play, but just finished finals and have played the last few days.
What I do on Resistance, and I've made it to level 29 solo doing this, is the following:
1. On what I would call the Northeast side of the map (to the left of where you start) you can climb up some stairs to a large restaurant balcony, go prone facing out without exposing yourself to direct fire from below. Let the guys come to you and pop their heads/chest into your line of fire, and then head shot every shotgun guy coming at you for the first three rounds. You'll be way north of $10,000 after three waves if you're patient and only take head shots. I only use the pistol here as there is no need for anything else.
2. After level 3, I buy an M60 w/ Red dot to make dealing with the MP5 guys easier but return to my same spot, just cherry picking guys as they run into my field of fire. You don't need to buy the LMG yet, as the pistol/shotgun will still work, but this is what I do so I have it.
3. When the copters come in at wave 6, I hang out in the small alley on the far Northeast corner that my cherry picking spot overlooks and take them out with my LMG. The high walls on both sides protect you if you go to the far north point of the alley. This is the same little alley that I will eventually (if I haven't done so already) put two Sentry Grenade Launchers in as I have the money and time to run over and get them. You can put the launchers in at any point that you have the money, but once I have the first turret in, I slightly shift my spot on the balcony to the right so that I can provide over-watch protection for the turret by covering the circular planter in front where enemies take cover. I'm careful here not to expose myself to longer distance shots from the open space near the ammo in the courtyard.
4. I buy the conditioning perk at some point when I can, making restocking on the occasional sentry, ammo, self-revive, etc much easier.
5. As some have mentioned, after wave 22 when the attack choppers come in randomly, I make sure to focus on taking them down with one of my two LMGs (I like an M60 and a faster reloader) as soon as they show up. By putting the two grenade sentries at the back of the northeast alley I keep them safe (for the most part) from chopper fire. Also, a couple claymores on my stairs help provide cover while I'm focused on the chopper.
6. Juggernauts, I don't sweat too much. I put claymores out on the steps to help protect me. I shoot at their heads with the LMGs and flashbang if I need to.
That's it, but it's gotten me decently far. For someone who is better at the actual techniques, I think you could go far. If you're more of a rookie, like me, then this should help you as you improve your levels and practice marksmanship.
Best,
Mark
Mark, there's actually a way to pretty much have the effects of extreme conditioning without getting it. Sprint, then jump, then sprint again just as you hit the ground. Wash, rinse, repeat. (That has worked in pretty much everything CoD single player/zombies/spec ops I've tried it in). Leaves you free to get Sleight of Hand (or you're preferred perk).
Thank you Mark, so far I love the location you pointed out... I got all the way to Wave 26. On wave 25 I ended up in the building in the center near the Air Support... and survived (barely) but then I didn't realize the Choppers and Jugs all came at the same time on Wave 26... I had just run back towards the balcony with a Turret in my hand, placed it in the corridor and got trapped by all the Jugs and dogs.... couldn't revive using just my revolver against all of them.... Had I known, I would have started running around.... and hoped to get them with predators... or something LOL. I'll try again.
Mark, do youl like the FMG9 better than the Type 95 w/Red Dot? I think Type 95 is probably the best Assult Rifle... And since I am Rank 50 now, I have access to L86LSW and MG36... aren't those better than the M60? Of course w/ Sleigh of hand, it makes a big difference (it took me a while to figure that I first need to deploy the care package before I can use the sleigh of hand.)
Here is a trick I read about: When you have enough money and want to buy TWO Turrents at the same time, buy 1, then immediately set it up next to the Equipment box, then buy the second one. Then pick up the one you just deployed and run with it to where you need to go. Once you get there put it down and then set up the second one next to it!
I also just understood why you suggested using a few Claymores at the bottom of the stairs while I try to destroy the Chopper after W22. However I am not that fast yet, especially with the Jugs coming up the stairs...LOL. But thanks so far. And of course thanks John too -- it goes without saying.
Hi Mike
I want to move onto other maps, Underground, Village and Interchange... do you have similar nice positions like the one in Resistance?
Sorry John I had meant Mark -- but somehow I wrote Mike.
John, what does DLC mean?
BTW, In Village I found a good hiding spot right behind the Arms Supply box... to get all those head shots in the begining -- just like Mark offered the place in Resistance.
Hey guys, thanks for the tips as well. I was out of town and not online.
I do like the M60 b/c I feel like it's a little more deadly, at least at the close ranges that I'm shooting guys with. I play with two LMGs, so I don't know about the "best" assault rifle, but there are lots of opinions on weapon selection, I think you should just find what works for you.
I've not messed around on other maps much, but maybe I'll take a look. If so, I'll post on the appropriate map's page here.
For mission map on your solo guide what turrets are best should it be both grenade or both gatling turret or 1 of each coz ive seen on you tube they use 1 of each not sure whats best please let me know
Well, I don't know how most of the assault rifles stack up, but I do know that the AK-47 can take out a helicopter in 1 clip if ALL 30 bullets hit the cockpit. I'm pretty sure it does more damage per bullet than the ACR or the FAD, but the FAD has a bigger clip and has more reserve ammo...
For Assault Rifles I like the Type 95 but it's not so good for copters because it does 3 round burst at a time, but it is the BEST for close range. I am now following Mark's advice and using my revolver the first 3-4 waves and accumulating more than $14,000. Then on wave 5, I use the Shotgun and the M5 I collect from the enemy to bring me up to around $19,000. (Take as many head shot or rampages, etc as you can.
Just before W6 starts, I go and buy TWO LMGs (the best for me is the last 2 on the list) with Red Dot and Grip... After I kill the 2 copters, I'll have 3 or 4,000 to buy a regular or a Grenade turret and put it in the corridor.
Wave 7, 8, 9 I stay on the top of the stairs and accumulate more and more cash. With the help of the turret, I don't use too much bullets.
In there sometime, I also run over to the AIR Support and buy a Care Pack w/Sleigh Hand. (The fastest way to get there is to go out the gate, cross the street and go into the other gate... jump the wall over the garbage can in the corner, and back the same way). I won't deploy it until the next wave ends and then I throw the marker and also run and fill amo. On the way back the box/crate will be at the bottom of the stairs, so I collect my sleigh hand and go up the stairs and prone again...
Before W10 starts I run and get some Flash and Claymores, fill up any Self revive and/or body armour then head over through the house ramp to the park where the Air Support is and buy a Predator Missile. I run around the map in circles until I find a good place to crouch and deploy the missile (or the first one is easier if you just flash bang him and shoot an antire LMG clip on him slowly moving back away from him as he comes on to you... until he dies.
Wave 11-14 I run back to my camping area and make sure I have enough amo and let the Turret do its thing with my help...
Wave 15, 2 Jugs! Again run to the AIR Support, buy a Missile and run around until I kill both JUGS in one shor if possible, if not, you have to go an buy more... keep running and jumping for speed.
Wave 16-19, I am back at the stairs... (I only use 1 turret for now because I want to leave room for another for Waves 24-25 in the middle building...).
Wave 20, run out again and get another Missile and keep running until you kill ALL THREE JUGS.
Wave 21-23, I come back to the stairs. But on wave 22 you'll get a copter towards the end of the wave... so kill all enemies and then run under the small bridge near the turret to get cover and kill the chopper. Again on Wave 23, you might get a chopper, so at the beginig, I put a few Claymores near the bottom of the stairs, and by the approaches... to take care of the suicide dogs, again as soom as enemies dwindle down to 2-3 I go under the bridge and take out the Chopper.
Wave 24-25... I run and get all the armour, bullets self revive and a turret, (btw, if you used 2 already, pick one up and run with it...) to the house in the middle, go up the ramp put the turret next to you by the fireplace and crouch by the sofa near the fireplace... give it all you can with your LMGs.... until all enemies die, then take care of the choppers hovering outside...
Wave 26... JUGS and dogs and bad enemies all will come at once... so you need to arm yourself with Predator, and maybe first call a Riot Shield squad to slow the nemy... they won't last too long (Sometimes you can use those to hide behind their shields to get close to enemies before you empty a clip on them... ) but whatever you do start running and watch for dogs and bad guys who will be following you along with the JUGS... I always die on W26... but I will try to get an air srike at the begining of W26 and throw one out near the AIR Box where a lot of enemies will gather before comeing at you... or even a missile... as soon as the round starts.
Anyway, that's how far I have been able to go on this... Wave 26... Good Luck to me and you LOL. It's tough.
Sorry, John my message was for you sorry bwt that, just wanna know on all your guides must the turrets always be just grenade or normal, ive seen on you tube they use 1 normal and 1 grenade y is that?
OK I did it.. Wave 28. I used an airstick right at the begining of Wave 26 and run out the house as enemies were staring to come.... I had also deployed a few Graymores around the house.. Once outside, I started running is circles and bought Missile... it took 2 rounds to kill all 3 JUGS and other enemies....
On wave 27, I started with a Grenade Turret in the usual corridor, then a few claymores around the bridge and the stairs... I killed a few enemes, then choppers came in the middle... so I run under the bridge and fought the enemies from there then shot down the Chopper... Done!
Wave 28, choppers came first with enemies... so I was about to park up the stairs, I jumped back down an under the bridge again, unfortunately had I known I would have protected myself with more claymore... but the dogs and enemies stared coming fast asn furious... and lost my body shield and my revive.. so that was my end... LOL
I think Wave 28 or 29 maybe the best anyone can do solo.... so maybe that's it for me.
made it to Wave 30 twice now... hmmm.

For the most part, most of the locations are pretty useful. I was having a hard time trying to find a good spot until I found this. So thanks.
