How to get Diamond Camo / Camouflage on Call of Duty Black Ops 2 ( BO2 )

Updated on June 19, 2013

Intro

In this guide I will talk about what you need to do in order to get the diamond camouflage for your weapons. This is above gold, and is more difficult but will bling out your gun, and be very fascinating. With that being said I will talk about the camo, what to do to get it, and the best way to go about getting it.

Before I get started let me say that I am officially recruiting with my co-leader for new teammates on Call of Duty black Ops 2.. For more information about our clan go to massivekillingsquad.com .

What is Diamond Camo

Diamond Camo is the elite camouflage on Black Ops 2 multiplayer. It is extremely difficult to get, and overall will feature a lot of Bling on your gun. It is very different looking than any other camo, and will definitely turn heads. This is something that will take a lot more effort than getting gold camo, and that is exactly part of what is needed.

How to get Diamond Camo

The way in which you achieve getting diamond camo on your guns requires you to get the gold camo in every gun in that class. For instance, to get a diamond camo on the Skorpion you must go through and get gold camo on every other gun in the sub machine gun class in order to unlock it on all the sub machine guns. This will take a lot of time and effort so lets get to ways to get this quick.

Easiest Way to get Diamond Camo

The easiest way to get diamond camo is in two steps.. First off, is aiming. Obviously this is a no brainer, but when you are going to shoot someone, aim for the head. Also adding a laser sight to your gun makes the hip fire accuracy better, and I find gets you a lot more headshots on your weapon. When you are aiming, remember to practice going for the head. The best way of accomplishing this is either in Hardcore, or practicing in zombies game mode.. Either way, practice makes perfect, and this will allow you to have the ability to aim the gun better, and increase your accuracy. Getting headshots is not easy, but I find Hardcore makes it much easier, and playing objective game modes, usually allows you to have better luck as well..

Which leads me to my second point. Playing objective game modes. Some will play team deathmatch, but since the objective is getting kills, it may be harder to take the time to focus on someones head. But in an objective game, you will get a lot of people who run around, and this makes it extremely simple for you to take the time to aim up and take someone out in the head.

In my opinion the best game mode to get diamond camo on is on hardcore capture the flag. One shot to the head, and you got the kill, not to mention it is fairly simple for you tog et that head shot.

Don't stress on Diamond.

Focus initially on getting a couple gold camo's, and stick with that. Then over time work on your diamond camo. While it may be a race to get that diamond camo before your friends, at the same time you want to focus on making sure that you are having fun. Not to mention that it is not easy to get the gold camo, and to achieve that proficiency is a good feat in itself. With that being said, don't stress over diamond, and just have fun. It is nothing more than a game, and you need to focus on playing, having fun, and not worrying about the diamond camo, it will come eventually with enough play.

ALSO please don't boost to get diamond. This is not something new that people would boost in order for them to get a gold gun, and I am SURE that people are boosting for a diamond gun. With that being said I personally do not approve of boosting in order to get a camo, but overall I am sure this will happen.

Gold camo

Below I have attached a link to my guide on how to get the gold camo, which will talk about strategies, and ways that will help you achieve this. The guide talks about ways in which you can go about getting that gold camo, and that will help you complete the diamond a lot quicker.

Summary

Overall getting a diamond camo is not a difficult task, but a very lengthy task. It will not be easy, but it is rewarding, and there are plenty of pictures, and videos on youtube of people with the diamond camo. If you have any questions please feel free to ask,
