NBA 2K13 How to get coins and rank up your My Player quickly

Updated on November 20, 2012

Intro

This Hub is going to talk about ways that you can easily rank up the attributes on your My Player, and get your player to be the best he can be. I will also talk about the best methods in order for you to get a lot of coins for your account. This will overall benefit you in the long run.

Before I start I should say that if you have any questions feel free to ask below in the comments section and I will try my best to get back to you within 24 hours or as soon as I can. Also if you want you can ask questions on my Gamer Tag on Xbox Live... my gamer tag is MKS JohnR space between the two.

Also I am available on Twitter. That is a great way for you to stay up to date with future guides that I write for MANY video games, and also if you have any questions you can ask there as well. Also I have other guides written for NBA, and have other guides written for many other sports games, and first person shooters, so feel free to check that out, or follow me on Twitter @Johnrr631992, or Twitter.com/Johnrr631992

The Buy Option.

Okay so if you have some extra Microsoft points laying around then i suggest this option. ESPECIALLY if you think you are going to keep the game, and stick through it for the next year, and play it a lot. Then I suggest putting some Microsoft point into your player to help build him up. For 240 Microsoft points you can get 10,000 coins to use as you wish. That is not a lot of Microsoft points considering how much all the other sports games out there take advantage of you, and really charge you a fortune if you want to take this method to get coins.

So if you have the extra Microsoft points lying around, OR you are on PS3 network, and you want to get some coins to help build your player, or buy items for your player, this is a pretty good method. I personally sugest this, and think it will help you a lot.

Online Option

NBA 2k13 Has started giving a decent amount of coins for playing online. You will get about 250-400 coins for playing online. This is a decent option to start your player up without going through the regular season and being benched a lot of games because your player is awful. This will help build up your stats, and allow you to get some extra spending coins to buy the things that you need.

With that being said, please don't join a game and then set the controller down to take advantage of the free coins. there are a lot of players I have noticed that are doing this and personally it is making me sick. I cannot believe that you sabotage games like this. It is very annoying, and I am going to write another hub after this talking about the players that purposely sabotage games and why you should not do that, also a guide on why you should not cuss out the bad players, because it CAN hurt you haha.

But overall playing online is a great way for you to earn some extra coins. This is a great method for you to use if you want to get coins, and play online with other people.

Playing games/Key Games

So obviously one of the biggest ways and best ways to earn coins is playing with your my player in the career mode. This will allow you to not only get a decent amount of coins BUT will also allow you to help get your player from the bench to a starter..

Another thing that is good about this game is you can choose to play key games only.. This will allow you to play games that will get you 2 times the rewards. Once your player is half decent this will allow you to get 200+ coins per game, and to build your player up quicker as well.

Summary

So overall There are a few ways for you to make coins easily on NBA 2K13.. I have detailed them in a short guide. If you have any feedback, questions, comments, or concerns once again please feel free to comment below. Also thanks for reading..
