Product Review for Monster Jamz High Performance Headphones

In this Hub I will talk about the product Monster Jamz Headphones. These are a high performance headphone that range in prices depending on the version and the materials used. While you can get a pair of these headphones very cheap on Ebay, it all depends on the version you buy. The pair that I am reviewing today costs about $29.99 on sale on Ebay, and retail for closer to $100..

With that being said, I will talk about the value, the materials used, the sound, compare them to other headphones, and talk about whether or not these are the best deal headphones that money can buy right now, or whether you should invest in another pair.

The first thing that I think is important to talk about is the materials that are used on the headphones. For the most part any pair of headphones I have ever used was made of plastic. One thing that really persuaded me when buying this pair of headphones was the fact that in the description I saw that they were made of metal. That was one thing that really made the initial push because I have had COUNTLESS pairs of headphones break because they were made of cheap plastic including my Beats Headphones by Dr. Dre. So to see that a pair of headphones was made of metal was a big push, and step for me that made me buy the headphones.

So I said I would talk about the price and value of these headphones. I paid $29.99 for these headphones on Ebay, and they usually sell for around that price, but retail for closer to $100.00.. The ones you see in my picture is the silver version. The price in my opinion is fairly low considering the materials used. Not to mention I have bought plenty of pairs of headphones for under $50.00 that have turned out to be nothing more than a waste of money. BUT this pair of headphones has yet to fall apart after 3 months of moderate use, and I have yet to have any problems with them. Therefore I would say for the price alone, that the headphones are worth it.

Now the box said high performance headphones, but what company would call their headphones low performance. So that alone I would not go off of. Although after using the headphones you will notice that these are in fact great quality as far as the sound goes. I was expecting less quality in sound due to the price, but in fact noticed that the overall quality of these headphones was great. They also have a few different size pieces for the rubber tip to fit your ear perfectly. This is crucial to get that tight fit which will cancel out all other noise. The headphones do a good job keeping out exterior noise on top of actually delivering high performance sound.

Personally I like the name Monster as I have used many of their products for my tv, car, and anytime I am looking for a brand name with connecting technology. So when I was going to buy the headphones having the name Monster backing them was a good push. The same thing happened with the Beats headphones, but I was in fact disappointed with those headphones. This was not true with these. I am very pleased with the product that Monster has thrown together here.

Obviously the first thing that comes in the box is the actual headphones.

Also you will notice that in the box comes a carry pouch. This is a small pouch that is perfect for storing your headphones, keeping them safe, and tangle free. The headphones also come with small ties that will help you re-fold up the headphones to store inside of the case. Overall I like the case because just folding up a pair of in ear headphones, and sticking them in your pocket opens them up to easily breaking, and opens them up to tangling and causing more grief than is intended. So with that being said I think that the case that is included is a great additional reason to buy the headphones.

So overall I think these headphones are truly worth the money. The headphones are not very expensive, yet at the same time come through and deliver a high performance sound that we all crave. Not to mention that they are made of metal, which for me is something that I have not seen before in headphones that cost under $100.00. With all that being said I think that these headphones are a great deal, and I rank them MUCH higher than headphones like the Beats Headphones. While these are in ear headphones, I think that these are the best in ear headphones on the market for the price. With that being said I think there are better over ear headphones, but for me they are to bulky and hard to carry. In ear headphones fold up easy, and will give you no problem carrying..
